Be Advised

You may find Energy Auditors who charge less. They may even be free. These auditors fall into three categories:

They are doing an Energy Survey which is a walk-through with a checklist. They are not using a blower door, infrared camera or other diagnostic tools and certainly are not checking the furnace/boiler and water heater with combustion analyzer equipment.
They are not trained or qualified by any nationally recognized standards and have no governing organization to monitor their work.
They are fully qualified and fully intend to do the repairs and upgrades with the company they represent. Nothing is free. If you think it is, you just haven’t gotten the bill yet!

All Star Home Inspection, Inc. does Energy Audits. We do not do the repair work. We can make referrals if you like, but you are free to select the repair contractors of your choice and we encourage you to shop for the best deals.
